CORONA AND THE CHURCHES

First case of corona virus changed everything in the country. The schools were closed,  people were advised to stay at home. The worship centres  were ordered to close.  This is something that has never happened.  Even if everything seems so difficult, the worship centres will always remain open for believers to worship.  
This was not the case.  Some pastors were arrested because of conducting illegal services. The closure was done so as to reduce and avoid any form of gathering.  Corona virus spreads faster in a crowd. Contact on infected people or materials spreads the virus.

Later,  the condition could be managed and the worship centres  were reopened. The believers were happy and overwhelmed. The ministry of health gave some conditions like the duration for each service,  the number of people at every service. This helped in the control of the virus and retaining the infections.

Things became more stable and  the duration for worship  increased. Hope was reinstated  among the people. They could seek intervention from God to change the situation of the corona virus.
 
Till date we strongly believe that one day everything will come to an end and the old normal will come back. People will go back to their normal worship places with their normal routine.

From the time the first case of corona virus was announced,  it has impacted people both negatively and positively.  Some identified business opportunities and increased their income and profits. To some it was not a bad year but to others it is a year of struggle.  People queuing for food donation The schools and learning institutions were closed immediately. The students had to stay home with their parents and guardians to prevent further spread of the virus. This led to a lot of teenage pregnancies. Many girls got pregnant at early age. Some did it in exchange of sanitary pads. This is a type of learning where learners and the lecturer or the teacher are connected to an online platform for the purpose of learning and sharing knowledge.  It involves the normal teaching only that it is conducted online using gadgets like smart phones , computers and even television. Sometimes it is called conferences or meetings or simply online learning.  Because of the corona virus,  it has been the most effective way of learning.  There is no need  having large number  of students gather to be taught instead, the students can attend their classes at home and wherever they are.
